Application for Overnight Guests

Aranya Refuge Theravada Buddhist Monastery has rented Earthspring Sanctuary, near Victoria, BC, for the month of November 2022. Two monks from Metta Forest Monastery will be in residence.

Earthspring is a large nature sanctuary, a wilderness refuge suitable for forest monks and for those wishing to participate in the daily schedule of a Theravada Buddhist monastery. Earthspring is approx. 40 minutes by car from downtown Victoria.

Applications are being received for those wishing to stay overnight at Aranya Refuge's Monastery from Nov 7 through to Nov 27 2022 for up to one week.

Depending on the emerging and changing state of COVID-19, these requirements may change.

Accommodations

The Main House

  • 4 single private rooms with a toilet and sink in each room. Shower building nearby.

  • 4 beds in a Dorm room -shared toilet/sink and shower.  Same gender will be grouped to stay together during week-long cohorts.
